Japanese colt Admire Moon (6-1 odds) took over the turf at Nad Al Sheba, winning the 1 1/8 mile Group 1 Dubai Duty Free by about half a length over a rallying Linngari (36-1) from Ireland. Daiwa Major, also from Japan, (5-1) was third. |

Heavy favorite Asiatic Boy left foes in his wake on Saturday, winning the Group 2 UAE Derby by nearly ten lengths, and winning the UAE Triple Crown at the same time. Although his odds were 4-5, exacta bettors picked up value with Jack Junior (53-1) to pay $66.00. Adil (23-1) completed the trifecta to pay $1,345.40. |

After losing and finishing off the board for the first time in the Southwest Stakes last time out, it looks like the promising Triple Crown nominee will be staying on the Derby trail. |
