Forseen as a 2007 Kentucky Derby contender, Nobiz Like Shobiz drew the outside post to run in this year's Holy Bull, a race won in 2006 by last year's Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro. However, the race has been shortened to a one-turn mile--Barbaro won it around two turns at a mile and an eighth in a thrilling battle to take the lead and hold it from front-runner Sharp humor. (Barbaro is the only horse to win from as far a starting post as number 10 at the mile and an eighth distance at Gulfstream park.) |
