Alydar Stakes features Cobalt Blue |

 Saturday's $75,000 Alydar Stakes is run at 1 1/18 miles over Hollywood Park's main track. The field of eight includes San Felipe Stakes winner Cobalt Blue, who has three wins from five starts, and was aiming for this year's Kentucky Derby until he finished seventh in the Illinois Derby on April 7th. Victor Espinoza will pilot the three-year-old colt trained by Doug O'Neill, and owned by Merv Griffin.
Coablt Blue won his maiden race at Hollywood in June 2006.
Level Red, third to Cobalt Blue in the San Felipe, will run the Alydar Stakes with Aaron Gryder up. Leesider, winner of the Cal National Snow Chief Stakes has Alex Solis on the mount.
