The Preakness post draw nearly put Hard Spun and Street Sense back in their Derby posts. This time Hard Spun will be number seven, and Street Sense is eight --the winning post of lat year's winner Bernardini. Circular Quay is inside at post 3, and Curlin is next at 4. Derby Trial winner Flying First Class is inside from Hard Spun at number 6. The Grade 1 Preakness is run at 1 and 3/16 miles, and has a $1,000,000 purse.
Of course, Todd Pletcher has two horses running. Besides Circular Quay, who finished sixth in the Kentucky Derby, we'll see Hutcheson Stakes winner King of the Roxy, who last finished second in the Santa Anita Derby.
