The past four runnings of the Grade 2 Hutcheson Stakes have been won by trainer Todd Pletcher, with jockey John Velazquez on board all of those same winners of the 7 1/2 furlong contest. Time for one of our favorite bets again: Can you guess how many horses Pletcher will run in this Saturday's Hutcheson Stakes?
Pletcher will saddle three horses. John Velazquez will be in the irons for Out of Gwedda, who won his first two starts last year, but took second to Buffalo Man in the Spectacular Bid Stakes this year. Edgar Prado will be on board King of the Roxy, who won the Grade 2 Futurity at Belmont last September, but finished eighth in the Breeders Cup Juvenile last November. Finally there is Air Lord ridden by Christopher DeCarlo. Air Lord took second to Adore the Gold in last October's Dover Stakes at Delaware Park. Reports online Bloodhorse
