Saturday at Fair Grounds' Master Command easily won the New Orleans Handicap. One of the better rivals, Liquor cabinet, trained by Rick Dutrow, Jr. was scratched out.
Master Command was saddled by Todd Pletcher, and of course John Valazquez was the jockey. Patriot Act was second, followed by Smokeyjonessutton.
